Bit of a rant about Disney dining reservations

Got a little bit of a rant. Had to book the RainForest Cafe for a party of 8 next month for my party of 4! Will have to call Disney to adjust the party size. Why in the world they don't just make this a non issue and adjust their reservations.

Maybe they have a large table available and not a smaller one.

Most likely all the 4 tops at RFC in the Disney res system have already been booked so I'm assuming you checked for a larger size group and found availability for a party of 8 (meaning a table large enough for a group of 8.) There's no way the computer will let you reserve half a table nor can it assign you a 4 top if all the 4 tops have already been booked. If you don't want to call Disney to adjust the size of your group, RFC only releases a small percentage of their tables to Disney so you can call the restaurant directly to make the reservation.
