Does the Bistro de Paris have windows overlooking the park? Just wondering. Getting really excited, this will be our first fine dinning experience :cool1:

We could see it a little. I went with the idea that we could watch illuminations from our window (I had been told there was a view). We were seated at a window. When the show was starting, I could see out of it but DH could not, even though we were at a small table. Some of the view was blocked by trees and it had been raining so there was bit of condensation. I had to sort of lean to get a good angle. After a while I just gave up as I could see the show, but not really "watch" if that makes sense.

If you get a table right at the window that has an unobstructed view, you can probably see most of the show. If you are not near a window, I don't know if you'd be able to see at all. If you really want to watch Illuminations though, I'd plan to be done dinner before it starts. Have fun! JJ

Thanks !
Do you remember seeing a spot that was good by a window?

I'm surprised there are not bigger windows up there. This is our first time, so I have no idea what it looks like up there.

Thanks

I would really try to enjoy Bistro for the fine dining experience that it is and not worry too much about the window view and/or seeing Illuminations from dinner. If you do get a window view (not a guarantee), it certainly is nice to be able to look out over the park, but the view is somewhat limited, as others have described. In any event, Illuminations is much better experienced from outside around the lagoon, than it is from inside a restaurant such as Bistro.

I'll second the other comments - you shouldn't pick this place if you are after a view of Illuminations. The few tables that are by the small windows have their view mostly blocked by the trees.

But don't let that stop you from eating here - its a great restaurant.

:thumbsup2 Thought maybe it would make the night even more special. Kind of like going to CG, good food and a nice fireworks show. :)

We are really looking foward to trying someplace new.
