I have been to most of disney's signature restaurants. What do you make of Bistro de Paris? I have never been and we plan on going this time around. any help/details would be appreciated. thanks

It's been a couple of years since we ate there, but we weren't very impressed. The service wasn't great, it was too hot in the restaurant and the food wasn't that great. This is really the only restuarant at WDW that has been totally disappointing to me.

Bob,
thanks for the info but I have seen the menus as well as the reviews. They are from quite some time ago. I was looking for some comments that may have been a bit more current or something that may have been omitted from a review. thank you

The last review was posted March 7, 2006, for a dinner that was on Valentine's Day... :confused3

Our last time to eat there was many years ago, but we have enough confidence in it that we are planning to book it for dinner on our 25th anniversary in December. The ambiance is the best in Disney for a romantic meal, and when we were there before, the service was outstanding. We just haven't had a chance for an evening meal alone for our more recent trips, so we weren't able to return until now. ~Ev

It's a year and a half since i've been, but it's always been amazing, one of the best restaurants i've been to in the World (and i've been to many amazing places).

One interesting piece of information, is that three very famous French chefs were involved in setting up the place, and still oversee it. One of them is Paul Bocuse, who is considered the World's top authority on French cooking, and has had 3 Michelin stars for over 30 years. It would be pretty hard to argue that he's not the best French chef in the World. With someone like that having influence over it, it's going to be pretty good :thumbsup2

I love Bistro. We ate there for the first time in July 05, and I'm upset we'd never gone before that. I loved the atmosphere; it was intimate and quiet. We had a table by the window. Our server was great and so was the food. We'll definitely be back.

Le Bistro is one of the best kept secrets on disney property. We have been a few times this past year. The food and service are wonderful.

It is very small, intimate, romantic. Don't take children.

The meal is slow and relaxed, time to enjoy wine or a nice drink between courses. Go when you have time to sit back and enjoy.

The Bistro is a must do every trip ,just there in Nov and like always fantastic :cool1:
