Thinking of eating at Bistro de Paris with DH and DDs - ages 11 & 14 (they will be almost 12 & 15). My older DD is a very adventurous eater, my younger DD not so much but I am thinking she might enjoy the Beef Tenderloin. Will they enjoy the atmosphere? Will the whole experience be lost on them? Would love to hear from those who have taken your children to dine there!

Thanks :goodvibes

I have taken my children to dinner here but they were in their 20s at the time so probably a completely different experience. We have dined here several times but all of our experiences are prior to 2012 when this restuarant added onto the dining plan. Prior to this, it was a very adult restaurant and we always experienced a very quiet place with excellent food and wine (it's a lot smaller than most WDW restaurants). I thought they had some of the best desserts but I'm pretty sure that the dining plan is forcing them to standardize those now which is a shame.

There may not be a lot of Disers out there who have taken their children to Bistro yet. Until last year it was not on the DDP, and I believe they did not even have a children's menu. It was geared toward an adult clientele with a lovely quiet, more formal atmosphere and with a very nice menu.

How that experience compares to the current situation I don't know. How would your children enjoy eating in a restaurant such as the one I described? Of course now that it's on the DDP, the ambiance may be totally different.
