Bissell SpotBot - love it, but a down side...

After I cleaned the spot, I can now see how dirty the rest of my carpet is!!

Does anybody else have one of these? It has taken stains out of my carpet that have been there since we moved in a year ago! It's really easy to use too.

I just saw the commercial for this product and told my DH we need to get one of those. Between cats and kids I would get some major use with it.

I have a Green Machine, and I agree. Everytime I clean a spot, I notice how dirty the rest of my carpet is. That is why I am asking for a full carpet steamer for Christmas

They are $129 @ Linens n Things, but with the 20% off coupon, it was $103. The cleaning solution costs about $6.

Is it worth getting or should I get a carpet steamer instead? How easy is it to use? I've been interested in one for awhile. Our carpet looks horrible, but with a 1 1/2 year old in the house, we're not getting any new carpet for awhile!

Since it sounds like you want to do a full carpet cleaning, I would definitely go for the full-size carpet cleaner (I like the Bissell Pro-Heat, lent it to my mother and never got it back). The SpotBot is definitely not something to do a large area with. Still love it though!
