Bissel SpotBot and berber carpet

Anyone use a SpotBot on berber carpet? I read a review on Amazon from someone saying it didn't work well on berber. Just wondering if anyone else had an opinion on that. Believe it or not, our dog has been wonderful in the new house with the carpet...it's our potty training son that's giving us problems! We sprayed all kinds of cleaners, but you can still smell (when close) the mess from DS's accident.

I found my scrub brush worked better than that. the spot bot I mean.

No, I havent' tried that. We used the pet stuff we bought, anticipating that our dog would make a mess and he hasn't had one accident!

I purchased it to clean pet stains from berber carpet and it works well. Works best with the oxygen stuff that comes with it.

I have not had luck with ANYTHING on berber carpet...I HATE IT!!! OK, now that I have that off my chest!

Really, berber is awful because you can't clean the little indentations. I just spent two hours yesterday cleaning our family room and it looks marginally better. I really want to replace it but it isn't in the budget at the moment. Ah well, there are worse things in life.

I"m not a fan of the carpet either. We just moved into this house in May. We plan on getting rid of the carpet and putting down wood floors as soon as the carpet gets too yucky. The house was built in 2003, so the carpet is still in decent shape for now.
