Birthdays

I want to make my daughter's birthdays special for them during our trip, so have a couple questions....

I've mentioned its their birthdays to the CM when I made the reservation.. and it is noted on our confirmation e-mail. Planning on getting them birthday buttons on the actual days while we're down there.

But my older daughter's b-day is the day we arrive.. we won't be checking in till probably mid-late afternoon since we're flying in.. and I know they don't put anything in your room before you check in... but would they be willing to put anything in it that evening? Or can anyone think of anything else i could do to make that day special for her?

I wouldn't anticipate getting anything in the room for your daughter's birthday from Disney. I've heard that many people are disappointed when they don't get "something from Mickey." You might want to order a gift basket from the florist to be delivered for when you arrive.

On my birthday, i was staying in old key west and i recieved a cupcake, a card signed by snow white and tons of balloons, none of which my parents even asked for, they just did it because they saw it was my birthday.

When we went for our honeymoon and my birthday, stayed at AKL, told the reservation specialist, and a certificate from Tinkerbell was waiting in our room on our 2nd night. It was a cute keepsake. My husband also called the Disney Florist and ordered the biggest, most beautiful red roses ever and they were delivered right to our room.
