Two of my daughter's will celebrate their birthday's the week we go to DLP. One 6 days earlier and the other just the day before. Does DLP offer anything like birthday badges or something similar?
We will be staying at the Radisson Blu, so not at a Disney hotel.

You can get a sticker for them both in City Hall & Mickey can ring them while at City Hall to wish them a happy birthday.

That sounds so cute! Thanks for the info :goodvibes

it was my daughters birthday last time we went and my daughter wore a big badge and most of the rides let her go straight back on again without queuing for another go ( it was a quiet time though mid november first week of christmas decorations and in term time )

i bought birthday sashes from ebay for my 2 girls when we were going to DLP for an early birthday pressie for them both a couple of years ago. They were both a bit too old for wearing princess dresses, but the sashes got them noticed and they got a lot of attention from the CMs and characters around the parks. I was even stopped a couple of times by other guests asking where I'd got them, wanting to buy them etc.

We are travelling in May - My son's birthday is early July. I want him to celebrate his birthday surrounded by Disney but am worried we will be frowned upon as bending the rules as we are celebrating so early - is this ok? I have booked character breakfast and cake etc

there are no rules to bend :). The only thing is, will your son understand that its an early birthday present? You can celebrate whatever you like and whenever you like.

Thanks for the info! We will be there for our son's bday (March 12) and will go for our daughter's bday (March 13) if we feel like we need another day. All depends on how busy it is. When hubby and I went last Sept, it was so slow that we did/saw everything we wanted at least once in one day so we skipped on another day. Don't know though if March will be like that :-)

I am going on the 2nd as an early birthday celebration (it's actually on the 4th) Would it be frowned upon for a 21/22 year old to get a badge? Because I'm a child inside and I've always wanted a Disney birthday badge. XD

I'm there later in march for my 28th birthday and I'd love a badge too!

The DLP birthday badge isn't really a badge as such - its a sticker you get at City Hall and they write your name on it.

Doesn't matter to me. Still want one! :rotfl2:

Is there somewhere to pick them up in the studios, as this is where we are going first, or is it just city hall?

there is a guest information office inside the Studios, but I don't know if they'd have the birthday stickers.

They do give Birthday stickers in the studios and the Mickey phone call aswell :)

Does Mickey speak in French, lol? My son wouldn't know what he was saying but would still get a kick out of it. And my daughter is taking French in high school and would enjoy as well!

with the birthday messages Mickey is pretty multilingual ;). The CM will probably give him a heads-up based on what language you speak to them in City Hall/Guest Information in the studios.

In 2012 we visited to celebrate my husband turning 30, it was his birthday on our first full day and I made him wear a big flashing 30 badge :cheer2: I'm glad I did as he received well wishes from pretty much every CM and character he came into contact with, it was really lovely.

This year we are also going to be there for his birthday, but it's an extra special trip as it's my 30th birthday just a month before our trip, I plan on wearing a badge and celebrating with hubby! If you can't celebrate your birthday at anytime in Disneyland I don't know where you can!!! :wizard:

I celebrate my Disney birthday (a couple of weeks early)... And, even tho I didn't ask for it.... When I want into city hall to enquire on meeting tigger, I was given a badge,a nd got a mickey phonecall (in English)... I had my mickey ears "it's my birthday" hat on, and I had loads of wishes, a few cms in the parade mouthed happy birthday at me, red queen can over and made a fuss, and in art of animation, the cm ere not only sang happy birthday to me, but announced to the whole room it was my birthday, and at the end, I got a special good bye too!!! And that's not including my birthday in cafe mickey lol. I wasn't expecting most of it, but that just made it more special... Especially the cms in the parade trying to catch my eye to mouth happy birthday!!!!
