I know I saw a post/thread that highlighted this but I can't find it now!

OK, for someone (an adult specifically but just in general) spending their birthday at Disneyland - there are a number of things they can do that are birthday themed or "special"... Can you all help me build the list again? I'll start:
  • Birthday button
    • If you ask nicely, Anna & Elsa's boutique may give your button a little sparkle!
  • Ride Winnie the Pooh
  • Ride Mad Tea Party
  • Ride Alice in Wonderland
  • Ride Haunted Mansion
  • Walk through Sleeping Beauty's Castle
  • Watch Disney Junior Live on Stage
  • Free birthday drink @ Starbucks @ DTD w/Starbucks Rewards
  • Free Brownie from Earl of Sandwich w/eClub Sign Up
  • Free Smoothie or Juice from Jamba Juice w/Jamba Insider Rewards Membership
  • Free $30 coupon (min $30 spend) from Patina Group w/Patina Restaurant Group List Subscription
  • $25 Birthday Certificate with paid membership in Landry's Select Club
  • Purchase Birthday Beignets from Mint Julep Counter (YMMV)
  • Purchase Birthday Cupcakes at Plaza Inn & Carnation Cafe (YMMV)
  • Mention at Table Service to (maybe) have Happy Birthday written on dessert plate (YMMV).
  • Disney's Birthday offerings (including cake orders & other gifts)
  • Please help me round out the list!

Mention at table service restaurants and there is a good chance they will bring you a birthday cupcake.

NR will decorate your dessert plate with "Happy Birthday!" written in chocolate around the plate. Pretty sure that S55 and CCR will do this, too. Also, you can order a birthday cake from Disney Dining to be delivered to your table at any TS restaurant in the parks.

These are all great! Thanks!! I've updated the first post so that it's easy to reference :)

Now...are there any rides at DCA that "celebrate" a birthday? I don't think there is.....does the Disney Jr. show have something? TSMM does't have a birthday scene, right?

Years ago I got a cookie at Pacific Wharf Cafe (I was wearing a Birthday Button).

Keep in mind there are NO official "freebies" for Birthday withing the parks. So don't go in expecting something and get disappointed if you don't get something.

Of course not, the point of this thread was more the rides. I had been oblivious to the idea of doing the birthday rides prior to reading that previous thread. I just couldn't remember them all! lol
We signed up for this and received "Patina or other restaurant". I'm assuming that Catal will know that it's for them? :)

The fine print says "any" but only after 5pm w/a reservation noted that you'll be using the certificate. Seems overly strict (but for free, whatever, I'll play their game ;) )

Yes, if I recall correctly, the basic story for Disney Jr. - Live on Stage is that Mickey & Friends are throwing Minnie a birthday party. I can't think of any birthday mini-games in TSMM; there is pie-tossing as the tutorial, but that doesn't really strike me as "birthday-ish".

I would denote all of the ones that involve a free food item from an in-park location as being only potentially free. This way, no one goes expecting to get it and then is upset if it doesn't happen for them.

Likewise, I would note that you have to sign-up/join EoS's club to get the birthday brownie voucher/coupon. Same for Jamba Juice's birthday smoothie coupon/voucher.

Perfect! I have never seen Disney Junior so that was legitimately a limb to go out on! ;) The closest I got to birthday at DCA was Jesus' birthday in Soarin'. lol

Fixed! Added "Your mileage may vary" (YMMV) :)

Thanks for these!

How does the birthday beignets work? Do I have to specifically order them, and are they always offered... Does anyone know?

I don't actually know! I assumed...maybe if you asked, when ordering them, they would add multi-coloured sprinkles to your beignets?! :)
