Birthdays at Disneyland!

This is the cast for our november trip:
Me, Cristabel (bday nov.2) "18"
Diana, my sister (bday Oct 27) "20"
Sergio, older cousin (bday Nov. 14) "20"
Adam, younger cousin (bday jan. 30) "17"
Catlin, a friend of our family (bday jan. 19) "20"

Well I invited my four closest friends (see above ) to come with me to Disneyland to celebrate my birthday. I was wondering would it be appropriate for all of us to get the birthday "stuff". Like the birthday sticker b/c in essence we are really celebrating everyones birthday at one time. I understand it would be appropriate for children but what about us "big" kids. ?

of course! all the birthdays are relatively close to the date you'll be there, so why not? that, everyone is a kid at disneyland!

A birthday at DL is for all ages. You don't have to be a kid to do the whole birthday thing. I went for the first time on my birthday last August and had the absolute time of my life! Okay, it was crowded and horribly hot, we made the best of it and stayed in as much shade as possible. I got my birthday sticker at City Hall, got the special birthday phone call from Goofy, got to pose with Goofy (and Mickey later on; it came out GREAT!) ate at the Blue Bayou for lunch, and had CM's wish me a Happy Birthday wherever I went. We went again on my birthday this year, again to the Blue Bayou. And...I just realized...I never wrote up a Trip Report for that day! Ooooh, I skipped from August 11 to September 24! Ooooh! That's bad. I should go write it up...see what I can remember!

I say do it . If your celebrating let everyone know. I went to WDW last year to celebrate my Bday and I wore the Pin every single day (6 total). I spent thousands of dollars to go to WDW I wanted all the "Happy Birthday's" I could get.

OT- I'm glad to see other positve posts. On the WDW forums people seem to think it is a crime if you celebrate something on a day other than the real date. They say it is tacky add abusing the system . I'm happy to see I'm not the only person who feels you can celebrate something at anytime. not all of us can get the time off on our actual Bday or anniversary.

Welllll, if Disney had made so we would celebrate ON our actual birthdays then they would have made us bring some sort of i.d. haha.

Not like they really get flustered about since, heck! We're still @ Disneyland spending oodles and oodles of money

In recent times my birthday fell near a weekend. On a Friday (in '04), Saturday ('05), and a Sunday ('06). I didn't just celebrate on the one day, I celebrated the whole weekend! And last November 6 (a Sunday), I requested it off for my sister's birthday. They messed up my work schedule and I was given November 5th off! I tried real hard to change it, but I couldn't do it. We ended up going to DL on the 5th and my sister still got a birthday sticker and all sorts of good things.

we have celebrated bithdays for both my sons the week before or after their b-days , and i was lucky enough to spend a b-day there! Celebrate as much as you can! And my son wore his button for 4 days last trip!

I'm heading to DL on the 23rd-27th with my two sisters, a husband and a nephew. My sisters birthday is the 23rd and mine is the 24th (We did this birthday trip on purpose). We'll have to get those birthday pins (even though we're 26 & 28 and I'm going to see if I can get a Disney cake for her birthday. Are there any other great tips for people celebrating birthdays at Disneyland? We'll be staying at a Disney hotel (or paradise pier atleast) for the first time, extremely excited.

Talk to vacation planning at the hotel , there are gift baskets, balloons, and many special things you can get trhough room service.

Does saliva and a little energy of greeting someone cost a lot nowadays?

Have balloons & sticker/ pin prices skyrocketed?

Get a grip people.

Yes, you may celebrate your birthdays there and it is fun regardless if its past or upcoming.
