Birthday?

My DS will be turning 8 on Halloween and we will be on the magic for the 10/30/04 cruise. Does anyone know if I could arrange to have a birthday cake for him? If not could I bring one on board since it is only 1 day after will leave? Nothing big but I think he would enjoy having a cake on his b-day.

DCL supplies the cake and singing at no charge. All you need to do is note on your reservation that it is your son's birthday and which day you want to celebrate (if not on the actual birthday.) All the available servers will come over and sing the cruise ship version of HB to him.

If you want, you can pay $30 for room "decorations." I went to the local card outlet and bought my own for about $10...had to put them up myself, but no biggie.

My daughter turned 8 a few days before we cruised. Not only did she get her cake and the servers singing to her the first night, but the Captain showed up and sang to her too!!

We will be celebrating DH birthday when we are on our cruise however I didn't state that on our reservations since he doesn't want any attention brought to him, is it to late to do anything about it now? Or can I arrange for him to get a birthday cake as well? We will be sailing 2-7-04?

DebiLL just call DCL and tell them that you are celebrating a b'day and which night they will put it on the reservation.. Or you can tell the servers when you get on the ship.

an anniversary on the Jan 3 Magic. You can call and add it to your reservation. It is a great way to celebrate those special occasions when they are also combined with a great cruise.
We informed the servers when we boarded which night we wanted to celebrate which event. The birthdays we did at AP and L and the Anniversary we did on the first formal night.
