Birthday???

Me, DH, DS (9), and DD (6) will be taking our first trip to WDW 8/14-8/21 at CR. My son's 10th birthday is the 11th of August. We had no intentions of "celebrating" his birthday at the world.... but would it be worth mentioning to CR that it was his birthday and/or getting the birthday pin? Do they ask for his actual birth date? And if we did this, would DD feel left out or does Disney recognize siblings of the birthday guest in some way?

no proof of birthday is necessary. disney allows people to celebrate their birthday at the parks any day they can. but focus would be on the button kid. unless you got a button for her and made it an unbirthday button

Does Disney celebrate adult's birthdays too?? During our trip, dh will celebrate his birthday, as will ds..............different days, but it would be nice to be able to do both. Suggestions....please.......

Yes they do. If you have that button on, regardless of age, it's your birthday.

Same with Anniversary buttons (They work for dating anniversaries too).

They definately celebrate adult b-days! I have taken my mom for her b-day for the last couple of years! They give you a pin and you'll have castmembers telling ya happy birthday all day! My mom absolutely loves it! I think it's great because she has a special day just for her! Even at 60 (don't tell her I told you her age! LOL) she is still always worried about everyone else! Plus you can get special cakes which I did this year too! So much fun! You'll have a blast!
