Birthday verification for kids

I hope I'm posting this in the right forum.

How stringent are they on the birthday certification for children? We have a copy of a certified copy of the birth certificate, but not an original certified copy. Will they take this?

You need any sort of state (or higher) issued photo ID such as a passport or a certified copy of a birth certificate. The ceretified copy will either be on watermarked paper with security information on the back or with a raised seal and date of filing (or a combination). A plain photocopy/Xerox will not be acceptable.

I have a state issued child's ID, that looks like a Driver's License for my DD will this be sufficient or will I still need a Birth Certificate. I had to show one and her social security for the ID.
