Birthday Trip 23rd-27th March - Highs and Lows

Mum and I returned home last night (getting in the door about 11.20pm). We've been having a few internet issues today so it's taken me this long to get round to typing these up

Highs
-Seeing Decent of the Stairs for the first time and meeting & dancing with Eeyore while I was there.
-Pluto delivering my Birthday cake and inviting me to dance with him while the music was on! (see a pattern here!?)
-Cast member interaction on TOT - I'll fill in the details on my trip report.
-The Eurostar staff giving me 2 bottles of wine to enjoy on my Birthday when I was getting off of the train.
-Being left 2 cokes from a lovely gentleman in Toad Hall.
-Being handed 2 fast pass tickets for TOT which someone didn't want.

Lows
-How uncomfortable Space Mountain has become, we only rode it once as it gave both mum and I a stonking headache, a real shame as we both love the ride.
-Ending up in California Grill instead of Inventions for my Birthday meal, it was still lovely but I much prefer Inventions theme and space.
-Smoking in the park, I know this comes up often but it's still a problem and not pleasant.
-Lack of coffee (or any hot drink) available during breakfast.
-Crush and Indiana being closed.
-Coming home.

I'm going to head over and start my TR shortly. I made sure I wrote everything down each day so I could remember everything. Prepare yourselves for a long one!

Welcome back, you sound like you've had a great time! I agree with you about Space Mountain - my head usually rattles but I think it depends where you sit.

In the DLH??? That's surprising when we stayed there we had a choice of tea, coffee or hot chocolate.

Lots of lovely highs! No hot beverages in DLH???? They are supposed to bring to your table.....did you ask??? Can't wait to read your trip report!

Welcome back, glad you enjoyed your trip As others have said they serve the hot drinks at your table in the DLH, we only had a slight hitch once when we stayed but I found a waitress who apologised and served us.

Welcome home, coming home is always in my list of lows too lol. Happy belated birthday!

We had a real wait for any hot drink at our table, very unusual indeed. We weren't the only ones either, we watched several people help them selves! We did always manage to get one, but trying to get a second was nearly impossible. Such a shame as they're normally so good
