Birthday Town???

I was talking to someone about Disney today, and they said that they loved Birthday Town? I don't recall of anything like this there? Anyone recall what she was talking about? I guess she went about 15 years ago, when she took her son.

Someone will know the correct name, but there was a 'birthday town' for the anniversary of Mickey's birthday-I want to say his 75th maybe? Anyway, now it is the ToonTown Fair in the back of the park where Minnie and Mickey have houses and you can meet many characters.

Hi! It's Mickey's Toon Town Fair now. It's a great place to see characters for meet/greets (inside and air conditioned, although the lines do get long).
There is a small rollercoaster called the Barnstormer and a place for kids to run around in water fountains. It's cute, with Minnie's house that you can walk through. It does get crowded and can be a bit congested and overwhelming in the heat of the day, but the little ones love it!!

Ok of all the times I've been I've never heard it referred to as birthday town! Thanks for your help. I thought she was talking about Toontown Fair, but she kept calling it birthday town. I got it straight now By the way I love your avatar HerdOHuds!! Too cute!

Thank goodness the kidlets are bigger now! They were cute, but MAN the work!!!

Could it be Celebration that she is thinking about as opposed to toontown in MK .?

Toon Town Fair was originally created as Mickey's Birthdayland. It was supposed to be a temporary celebration of Mickey's 60th birthday in 1988, but like many things at Disney, temporary means it never went away (just changed).
