Hi all. I am starting to plan our trip to WDW in August for our daughters 11 b-day. We will be doing the basic dining plan & DD would like to have seafood for dinner, characters not as important as the meal itself. Where do you recommend? Last time we went on the DP we had lobster at Catain Jack's, but this time I do not see it on the menu.

Thanks!:lovestruc

Use 2credits- go to Narcoossees at the Grand Floridian. Rave reviews from almost everyone. and they have real LOBSTER. :)

You're correct about Cap'n Jack's - they removed lobster from the menu in October.

Your only option for a lobster entree is Narcoosees. Flying Fish is also excellent for 2 credits.

If you want a 1 credit restaurant, best bets may be Coral Reef or Cape May.

Thanks for the suggestions. We only wanted to use 1 dinning credit & have already eaten at Coral Reef. While we enjoyed it there, it would require entrance to Epcot which we were saving for 2 other dinners when we eat in Germany & Japan.

The Cape May clam bake looks good for her. She loves steamed clams, New England Clam Chowder & peel & eat shrimp.

Any reviews?

I love the cape may clam bake, the shrimp are good, the clams are Ok.. they are tasty but the broth is not really like good clam broth they are kept in more like a warm water bath so they can taste a bit bland. They are really small clams but they are plentiful. Everything else at this one is great! One of my kids favorites. My DS 13 loves seafood and my DD 15 does not but there is so much stuff to eat this one is a must do each trip for both of them! They have a great salad bar and cold salad and corn bread, chicken, ribs that fall off the bone, mashed potatoes.. yum! geting hungry.. great dessert choices and soups, a few fish choices like salmon or flounder, and a kids buffet area too..
