I just thought i would ask you guys for your opinions. We were due to go to WDW Florida at Xmas and celebrate my DD 12 birthday when we were out there but due to major family breakup this is no longer happening!! I am however taking DD to DLP instead but in Oct about 6 weeks before her birthday, do you think it would be OK to book in for the birthday tea thing that they do? or do you have any suggestions (we have to be a bit careful with the pennies) I take it they wouldn't want to check her birth date on passport etc.
I look forward to your comments.
Many Thanks

Sorry to hear that your plans have had to change. I shouldn't think for a moment that they would check dates of birthdays. If you want to celebrate early, that's up to you. Go for it.

Likewise sorry to hear that your plans have changed. No DLP will not check your birthday. To all intensive purposes you are having a birthday trip. Disney wants you to enjoy yourself so let you DD have the time of her life :goodvibes Go to City Hall and get a birthday badge :thumbsup2

Sorry to hear that :grouphug: Hope you will have a fabulous time at DLRP! :wizard: :wizard:

We have been sat in the Steakhouse and it seemed that every table bar ours was celebrating a birthday???!!! ;) :rolleyes1 ;)

What does it matter if you celebrate a little early? You are the one paying for the birthday tea ~ book it and enjoy! :bday:

Thanks guys i will do that she was sooo dissapointed re our xmas trip and has been so marverlous over the resent events that i would like to make it all as special as i possibly can.
(Elaine it looks like we will be going at the same time, i wanted to go from 22nd oct to 26th but could not get direct Eurostar so had to shift it a day)

Oh dear, that doesn't bode well ~ I bet the prices will be extortinate when I go to book our seats :scared1: :scared1:

We went and celebrated ds's birthday on the 18th October last year even though it was another 12 days to his birthday. We had a great time and we were never asked for any proof. Have fun and I'm sure she'll have a ball.
