The family id going to be in DL on my nephew's birthday. Does anyone know if we can take wrapped presents inside the park? We were palnning on opening presents after dinner (we have a Birthday Bucket ordered). I would hate to wrap it only to have security unwrap it. Thanks for the advice.

Only 16 more sleeps until I'm at "The Land". :cheer2:

Good question! I'm thinking I would just do gift bags to be on the safe side. Then security can just peek inside and send you on your way.

I was under the impression that you could not bring wrapped gifts into DL.

Last year, we celebrated DD's 1st birthday and I wanted photos of her at her birthday dinner at Ariel's Grotto opening a few presents.......so I did bring in a wrapped small book and a wrapped jewelry box. Both were very small and it was obvious what they were by looking at the outside of the present. I also stuck them on the bottom of my diaper bag so it wasn't too obvious that I had wrapped stuff when going thru security. Nobody noticed or asked to see what was inside the package. However, if they had asked, that would obviously have been fine by me. Afterall, the security people are just doing their job.

I was just thinking about this today as we are having breakfast in the parks for DD's birthday in a few weeks. Guess I'll get a birthday bag. :)

I have seen them tell people that they cannot bring wrapped gifts through security. Gift bags are a great option!

What an awesome question! Way to go!!! I would have never known this rule had you not asked it!
Thanks! :cheer2:
