Hi Folks!

My wife and I are taking a couples only trip in a few weeks for a 3 day on the Dream. We arrive back in PC on Monday, but the following Wednesday is DW's 40th birthday, and is the reason we're taking this cruise(well....not the only reason:))

Is there anything I could do as a clueless DH to make it special? I've already booked Palo Dinner, Palo Brunch, and the jetski excursion. We initially thought of the couples massage at Senses, but she was turned off by the $400 price tag.

Any tips would be appreciated!

Do you have a verandah? If you do you can join the verandah club.

Just a comment - doing Palo brunch as well as dinner for a 3 night cruise is a lot of food.

Besides purchasing stateroom gifts (fruit, chocolate, wine etc) you can book a less expensive spa option. The rainforest room passes are $36 a day now (I believe that is the current going price) and you can book a Frangipani scalp massage for around $40. It's not always listed on the spa services, but if you ask they can usually book it.

Party City has lots of Disney decor you could theme the room on her "Birthday Day" to her favorite character(just remember you can't use any tape to put anything up. ) and then schedule a scalp massage and some time in the Rainforest room (or a mixology class, or wine tasting etc)

I've found the best Birthday gifts I've received on a cruise were those I wasn't expecting. "Smuggled" on little gifts or room decor or a nice scheduled activity that I didn't expect.
