I already posted on the Restaurant Board, but I'd like to see what my friends over here on the Community Board have to say.

We will be at WDW on my birthday in October. We are booking the Epcot Segway Tour in the AM and doing the MNSSHP in the evening. We have lunch available. LeCellier would have been my first choice, but since I can't get it, where would you go for a specail birthday lunch?

In Epcot? I'd go to the Coral Reef Cafe.
It's absolutely beautiful and the food is amazing. We went there for a special lunch and had a really good time.

I'd keep trying to le cellier, right up until the day of.

When I can't get sit down at Epcot I eat at that Funshine Seasons (is that the name) in the Land. I love their pork chops, mashed potatoes and carrots.

For CS,it beats a burger or chicken strips and fries!

I'd go to Les Chefs de France. I had a really awesome birthday lunch there earlier this year. :)

I agree - I love their lunch menu. If you make a later reservation, say around 2pm, usually the restaurant is mostly empty and you can linger over a glass of wine. We have had several fantastic lunches there in the early afternoon. Request a seat by the glass and people watch!

I think either Les Chefs would be my first choice, if you like the menu. Next would be a close tie between Tutto Italia or Restaurant Marrakesh.

I hope you have a wonderful birthday trip!! Dad, DH and I are on our way to Japan next week. We're leaving the boys with my mom and MIL

Another vote for Chefs! I prefer that to Le Cellier.

It's difficult to make such recommendations because everyone has different tastes, but if you like Le Cellier, don't give up on it so easy. We've had some success just walking up even when they were supposedly booked solid. It seems a lot of people book multiple reservations for the same meal when they don't really know where they will end up being for that meal. We had called ahead and were told the Rose and Crown was all booked, but we stopped by just in case and got seated within a few minutes and the place was barely half full the whole time we were there. If you still can't get into Le Cellier, the Rose and Crown is a short walk away.

Agreed! If I was eating in EPCOT, I'd do CR. Then again, I had my 40th lunch at House of Blues. It was awesome too!!

I would choose between Chefs or Tutto. I loved listening to the waiters at Tutto coming to the various tables and singing happy birthday to the guests.
