Hi Can anyone help me please - we are going to DLRP for the first time in a few weeks - we are going to celebrate my daughter - aged 7 and my two nieces aged 4 and 6 birthdays while we are there - their birthdays are on the three consecutive days that we will be there - I was hoping that someone who is going shortly would be kind enough to send a couple of postcards or the like from DLRP to them - to invite the girls to a birthday party at DLRP - thought this would be a really nice idea - can antone help - I am willing to cover all costs - postage etc

:worship:

I'm afraid I won't be able to help you with this, but it sounds like a lovely idea :goodvibes

We are going on September, 25th. I could send the postcards. If it's OK, please, PM me

BTW, it's an excellent idea. I think I will do the same next year :thumbsup2

Thanks so much - I dont know how to do a PM though - can you explain it to me !!! - sorry for being a bit thick :yay:

Carla, when you put your mouse over a poster's name on the left hand side of your screen and click on it, an option to 'send private message appears'. It's sort of like email.

Check the upper right of your screen in the yellow box - it should say 'private messages'. That is where you go to find your messages (you can also send one from there instead of using the short cut I described)

You can also chagne your settings so that a box pops up on your screen whenever YOU get a message.

Sending you a PM so that you can try it out!

Hi

\We are going on the 16th if thats any help.

We did the same four our son, my auntie sent him a card inviting him to stay, hes so excited bless, hes only 5.

Thanks for all your help - this site is so fab !!! 6.2.6 has very kindly said that he will send a couple of invitations for me and I have now learnt how to use the personal messages - I am sure the girlies will be very excited when they receive invitations from mickey to celebrate their birthdays - I will let you know their reaction.

Bit off topic but have done something like this before - when my little girl was a bit younger we decided to take her to cadburys chocolate factory for the day - its not that far away from us - so I went to the shop and bought two bars of chocolate the ones with golden foil wrappers around the bar - opened them carefully and used the wrapper of one to wrap around the chocolate of the other - so that it looked like a golden ticket !! - I then rewrapped the bar carefully so thast you couldnt tell it had been opened - when my little girl opened it she couldnt believe that shed found a golden ticket - like willy wonka - it was really special and something shes never forgotten !!! - we had a fab day at the chocolate factory - thought this was a great idea for anyone here that lives close enough

Carla :rotfl:
