Birthday info?

My DH will be celebrating his 40th while onboard...can I notify someone ahead of time so our waiter will be aware of this or what do you all suggest? Thanks!

If you are a repeat cruiser (with DCL), they already know. If not Your TA or Guest Services would be the people to notify. When we booked our Sept. Sailing, I received an e-mail, stating that they would be celebrating DH's 40th the day we arrive and DS's the day before we leave! What a nice surprise! Have a Great time!

Yup - I told them when I first remade the ressie. I will actually be onboard ship (yes I will) on my 46th birthday this year. It's a sea day and Im thinking maybe starting off at Palos brunch.

We were return cruisers and our head server already knew. We didn't get an e-mail or tell anybody before hand. DH went to our head server the last night of the cruise to tell her it was MY birthday. She said she already knew 'a little bird had told her'. He was really surprised when they brought out birthday 'stuff' for him too.

DH and both were celebrating birthdays the week after the cruise but DCL celebrated the last night of the cruise. We were each given a cake and a DCL 'It's my Birthday' pin. They also sing Happy Birthday.

I plan on celebrating my DS bday on our May 2004 cruise. It will be about 3 weeks before his bday. The cruise will be his bday present from me, along w/suvineers. So I hope they will still give his the special bday treatment while onboard!!!

Cool! I actually sail on my 40th birthday, so I am looking forward to it. It sounds like they really make birthdays special. I can't think of a better way to turn 40!

I will be celebrating my 28th birthday on board for our Dec. cruise. They asked me what day I wanted to celebrate it on board. I'm think of buying a tiara to wear around the ship to celebrate all day!
