birthday info for DW

I am flying my soon to be 5 year old to DW for just a couple of days at the end of March. Big surprise. I was wondering what special things will/could happen for her birthday. We know about the b-day pins. I also have PS for Cinderella dinner that night. I just want to make this the best b-day ever. Thanks for your suggestions !!

Tell both your hotel and guest relations (upon entering parks) that it is DW's birthday. The more ppl who know the more fuss they make oevr the B'day girl. If staying on site, it is especially ince. AKL gave DS two lovely cards and a really sweet safari Pooh from the gidt shop. We got more cards and cool stuff at our character meal at Crystal Palace (marched in special parade with Pooh and friends etc.)

Again, let as many CMs know about Bday as possible.

Consider ordering a little something from the Disney Florist. They have gift baskets with goodies that would drive your birthday girl wild -- click here for Disney Florist gift baskets. If you don't see anything on their website that you like, give them a call and ask them to create something unique for you. They are usually very flexible and eager to help you create the perfect gift basket.

Daisylove, you're welcome. The Dis is my favorite place to hang out (even though I don't seem to have much time for it lately due to life/work pressures). I have learned much from my fellow Dis'ers.

I thought I would point you at a little company that offers a very unique service -- Gifts of a Lifetime. I first read about them years ago here on the Dis. I have used them a few times and have been very pleased with their service. They can purchase things for you and ship them to your house or have them waiting for you at your resort. I ordered quite a few Guest of Honor badges from them a few years ago (they were delivered to my resort and waiting for me at the Front Desk upon check-in).

I also hired Gifts of a Lifetime for a very unique and memorable event -- the Santa's Sleigh Event. I wrote about that event a few years ago here on the Dis. Gifts of a Lifetime has put together all sorts of events for special occasions -- birthdays, anniversaries, engagements, etc. If you want something truly memorable, consider contacting them.
