birthday in WDW?

My dad will be celebrating his 46th birthday while we are at WDW. Is there any suggestions on how to make this special? Such as, are there any places that will do something special or give you something special for your birthday? They ae on a very tight budget, so please nothing expensive.

We did the charcter breakfast at Donald's Breakfastosaurus in Animal Kingdom for my ds birthday. Mickey came out presented my son with a B-day card and the whole place sang Happy Birthday to him. I also let the resort front desk know it was his B-day & his favorite charater & they brought him a card & picture signed by the character (his was Mickey) & balloons to our room. Also be sure to stop by Guest Services at Animal Kingdom & Epcot & City Hall in MK for a button that says "Today's my B-day". While shopping in MK one of the CM's noticed ds button & had us come to the phone...she had called "Goofy" for a birthday greeting.

If you go to sit down restaurants, mention to your waiter that it's your fathers birthday. He might get free dessert, or a cup cake, something to that effect. Someone mentioned this to me as I'm going out for my birthday in August.
Not sure if this is the "something special" you were looking for, but they are nice little gestures from Disney to make birthdays more special.
