Birthday in the parks

We are traveling to Universal over our daughter's 6th birthday. This is our first visit to Universal as a family (both the hubby and I visited over 15 years ago!). Are there any recommendations for special birthday activities, restaurant reservations to make, etc?

Stop at guest services and get the free celebrating button

The TM can write whatever your celebration you have on the button

Most TM’s will acknowledge it and sometimes besides birthday wishes, a tm might give you a treat of some kind


If you make a reservation for dining, have it noted you are celebrating a bd

Hope your daughter has the best birthday celebration while there

This has never been my family's experience so just be prepared for that rather than boosting your child up for special attention. It was never a big deal to us but I just wanted you to be aware to manage your expectations.

Well that's too bad...TMs should make it a point to speak to the birthday boy/girl. Shame if they didn't.
