Has anybody taken WDW up on their offer of a free day in the park on their birthday? Is it a pain when you get there at guest services? We printed out our certificates already.

We're deciding on passes now to decide whether to get a free day in the park, buy an annual pass and get a gift card.

We are doing it in August for my mom's 80th b-day. Since we all have hoppers with no expiration, mom will be using the free day at the park option. Should be lots of fun!

I will let you know - we plan to go on 6/25 for my wife's 50th birthday. We plan to get the gift card - we have tickets already and we plan to use it for dinner at Tokyo Dining that evening.

Thanks. I also heard there's an option for a fast pass for a small group for just that day.

Might get a better response in the Themes Parks board instead of the Restaurants board... :)

I plan on using mine in September whether it is a small hassle or not. :)

I hear the fast pass isn't really worth it if the park isn't going to be REALLY busy. It doesn't allow you on all of the Fastpass rides in that park, only 4 I believe? I know you have to pick and choose which rides you want to use the passes on. Instead of the fastpass, if you're not using the free admission, I would use the $75 gift card. You can't use it on food but there's always souveniers to buy. We're planning on buying our photo album with the gift card.
