Ooh Good post. I'm thinking of doing this for my DD when we're there in December as it will be a week before her birthday.

I hope you have a wonderful time and i'm sure you wife will be thrilled to bits!

:cheer2: :Pinkbounc :cheer2:

Hi There

We don't bite so don't worry :goodvibes

I have been for afternoon tea at Plaza gardens at the same time the Birthday tea's were on. WE met Tigger , Baloo , Pluto , Goofy , Robin Hood , Eeyore.

The gift I saw people getting was a plush Mickey. You also get a rich chocolate cake and a card that the various characters sign for you and they all sing Happy Birthday as the cake comes out.

Food is mostly sweet - cookie , mufins and the like.

It's great you'll love it :thumbsup2 and so will your wife

thanks to you both for replying so quickly we will enjoy it and so will the three kids emily 12 lucy 7 and will 3 (who is dying to meet Buzz - fingers crossed)

im going to be going the week before my birthday, its kind of a birthdaypersent,i cant wait, the only problem is its not till may

May may seem like a long time away but believe me, it will soon be here! :goodvibes

Do you have to pre-pay for the Birthday Tea? I was thinking of setting one up for our upcoming trip for my husband's birthday (although the experience is more for me and the kids!!).

Thanks!

- Tara

i hope my parents surprise me with something like this, even though i doubt it,i might have to drop some hints.

- Tara - No you dont have to reserve but you should reserve it in your hotel or at city hall on arrivall.

The characters don't actually bring the cakes. I would think there would be a difficulty with their getting covered with icing. They were stealing sweets from the tables and giving them to their minders last time we were there.
