birthday ideas in WDW?

its my birthday in september whilst we are in wdw and i want to plan something special
it will be me dh and the children (9&6) so i was thinking of either the family magic tour or one of the speciality cruises
any advice or other things i hadnt thought of

I was in WDW for my birthday in 2005, I had a great day.

Make sure you get a birthday button from whatever park you are in to wear for the day. How about a character meal for you all to enjoy? Make sure when you make your ADR you mention it is your birthday. The family Magic Tour sounds like a great thing to do. Illuminations and Wishes Cruises re fab, my favourite being the Illuminations one If you and your DH wanted a meal out together without the kids you could put them in one of the kids clubhouses

Whatever you choose have a wonderful time.

I'm celebrating my 40th birthday in February and we are spending the day at Discovery Cove, doing the birthday package to make it extra special.

We took our DD to Chef Mickeys for her Birthday.It was fantastic.She got a badge, special placemat and a cupcake with a candle on it delivered by Mickey himself.Then all the characters danced round waving their napkins.

It was magical to see the look in her eyes.
