I know this is off subject of Disney, but I was wondering if anyone had any ideas for my DD4's birthday. She will be turning 4 9/29. She loves the princesses. I think her goal is to be everyone of them. Last year it was Cinderella. This year it's ARiel. So for hollween, we are having a ariel costume made because she doesn't want to be ariel when she doesn't have her voice, she wants to be ariel when she is the mermaid. I found a pattern that looks close to being the mermaid. Anyway, back to bday, we are having a sleeping beauty cake and the princesses plates and napkins. I am giving her the princess laptop (educational) and I also found a white cloak at Walmart that she can wear with her princess's dresses. I would like to give a couple more things, but just have no idea. She has so much stuff already. Maybe I should just stick with that. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

How about a prince/princess tea party???

There are places in our area that host them, but it would be easy to do at home.

Have the girls come dressed as princesses and the boys as princes or knights.

Introduce them and have them parade in one by one to a music CD. "And now presenting her royal highness Princess Sarah" applause, applause.

Decorate with rose petals scattered on the tables (Wal-Mart sells big bags for cheap)

For a party favor, everyone could make a princess hat and boys a knight's shield. Just buy pink cone hats and tulle ribbon to drape from the point. Add stick on jewels, glitter glue, etc. Same for the boys except cut shield shapes out of cardboard.

Serve finger sandwiches and fruit on fancy platters. Punch in crystal goblets (plastic champagne glasses), etc.

Have fun!!!!

No problem.

I just noticed you were actually asking about her gifts--I bet you already had the party planned.

We had a local artist paint a castle and a ribbon banner on DD's wall--it is beautiful!!! She sells wallpaper murals that anyone can order. One of her castles looks JUST like Cinderella's.

Here is her website:

Our DD is only 3 mos, but hopefully she will love it as much as I do when she grows up a little :)
