BIRTHDAY :cake: FIREWORKS CRUISE

A Birthday Fireworks Cruise (50 minutes) is also available, which includes the pontoon fully decorated, and a cake and soft drinks.

Price for 1-12 Guests (maximum of 10 adults) is $220 plus tax. Cruise around Crescent Lake and then over to Epcot to view IllumiNations (voyage lasts approximately 45 - 50 minutes). Departs 30 minutes prior to IllumiNations. Cost includes a driver. :boat:

How are they ?
What type of cake ? Our choice ?
Drinks - can we get just water bottles ?
Other choices of food - yes we would pay the $$'s. ;)

Smoke from fire works ? Doesn't WDW now have less smokey fire works at EPCOT ?

Where does it pick up and drop off ? Y&BC ?
What time ?

We will be celebrating our 21st anniversary, my DD's birthday and my DS graduation all on the same night.
I thought a fireworks cruise would be a fun way to celebrate.

What are your thoughts on it ?
Worth the bucks ?

Thanks :)

I haven't been on one of these but I am aware that there is a Wishes Cruise for Birthdays as well. Same idea as the illuminations cruise but the price is a bit lower. It departs from GF, WL or the Poly.

We did this for DD 12 th BD in Oct.. It was great.. the cake was so good you get to pick the kind you want,,, we had the choc. The boat had a happy Birthday sign and balloons .. So worth it !!!!!!!!!

My family did this for my son's 13th birthday in August 2002. I think the choice was between a choc. or van. cake. Don't know if you can have water instead of soda. They did ask what kind of soda I wanted so you did get to choose a variety of sodas. We also had snacks, little bags of chips, preztels, etc. The boat was decorated with balloons and a bigs sign wishing him a happy b-day. We did the MK cruise because the Epcot one was sold out. There was no problem with smoke at all. The guy we had was very nice, and as he sailed around the lagoon he told us very interesting facts about the hotels and other things. Bugs can be bad in the summer, but we did prepare ourselves for that, thank god we did. It was well worth the money and everyone just loved it. It leaves from the Poly, GF, CR that I know of. Enjoy!

We did this for my son's 11th birthday. Because the school has a 2 week spring break, there were several other families in wdw at the same time so we decided to go all out and treat them to dinner at the AKL (Boma I think) and then all the kids and as many adults as would fit. It was wonderful!! We have some of the best pictures from this cruise. What I remember is that the smoke was not a problem. You can order anything extra that you want, you just have to do it before hand because it's all there and waiting for you when you load. We got the boat at the Y&BC and it was decorated for a BD party. The captain was very informative and we felt like it was absolutely worth the money. Good luck, hope you have fun!! :)

We did one also for an 11 year old girl in our party. The three adults and all the kids, 13 yr. old boy, 2, 11 yr. old girls and a 4 yr. old girl loved it. The birthday girl got a real kick out of everyone walking along shore yelling happy birthday to her. The cake was to die for!
