Birthday decor- in room decorations packages

Anyone have a picture of the birthday decor package all set up? The pic on Disney's website is a tiny thumbnail and doesn't enlarge when I click on it. I'd love to see it in real life. There is only one option right? Too bad they don't offer diff versions for ages/genders/etc. If you have ordered it before did you think it was worthwhile or should I bring my own? We have 2 diff bdays onboard this upcoming sailing.

Waste of money in my opinion. I did it once for my daughter. They were just a few things hung from the ceiling and a frame. It was a lot of money that, in retrospect would have been better spent on something else. My daughter didn’t even really like them.

Just be aware, if you order the in-room birthday package, it's often set up on embarkation day. Not the actual day of the event.

That would be fine, because we have 2 bdays on diff days and I wouldn't buy 2 packages if they were set up on the actual day.

I know I’m not answering the question, but I do have a thought. I plan on purchasing some Star Wars decorations (since we are doing a SWDAS Cruise) from a party store/Amazon and bringing some magnets with me. I’ll decorate the room while my husband is out or in the shower. He will still be surprised but it will cost me MUCH less. I might even get a Star Wars throw blanket or something to mimic the package DCL sells. I do believe you can decorate as long as you use magnets and not tape. Can anyone else confirm or speak to this idea?

Yes, no tape. Only magnets to affix stuff to walls/ceiling. I think it's a great idea to bring your own "birthday package".

I did this when we sailed Royal.
I bought a package for less than $5 (Walmart) Magnets from Hobby Lobby the button kind. I hot glued the decorations onto the magnets at home.


Disney used a big flat very light weight magnet.
