Birthday cruises / pictures/ cakes?

Does anyone have any pictures and/or descriptions from a birthday cruise? (or just a regular fireworks or illuminations cruise?) I'd love to see what they look like decorated and/or what the view is like from where you stop to see the fireworks/illuminiations.

What does the cake look like and are there different cakes you can choose from? Food?

I have only done the basic Illuminations Cruise. I have no photos of a birthday cruise.

We had dd's 3rd birthday on May 31st. We did the illumination cruise. It was great! The party barge was huge... we had 12 people ( 6 adults and 6 kids). It was decorated with a really large "Happy Birthday" banner and several bunches of balloons. Everywhere we went onlookers yelled happy birthday. There was plenty of soda and water, as well as chips. The cake was very pretty and tasted great, too! We had plenty of cake left over. Our driver was, Kimmi. She was really nice and handled our hyper kids perfectly. We had a great view of the fireworks, too. I would do it again in a heartbeat!

I have a picture of the boat and the cake. It was an awesome experience, we did it for my step-dad's 75th birthday. He is a total Disney-aholic, and we were looking to do something special that none of us has done before. The CMs who run the program are fantastic, and treated us like royalty.

mcnuss- did you do Illuminations or MK fireworks? I'm thinking of doing this in January on our last night for DS and my birthdays - hope you can get the pictures posted!
