??birthday cruise worth the extra$$$

i was just wondering for anyone who has done the birthday cruise for ILLUMINATION if they thought it was worth the extra $100 --and was the boat heavily decorated or just a few streamers and also what kind of cake did you get(and was it personalized)thanks for any info

i have also read about people being bothered by the smoke from the fireworks--did anyone feel like this took away from the special event

You are at water level with an unobstructed view.

The wind direction will determine whether or not the smoke may bother you. We had no problems at all but I have read some reports where the smoke was a problem. I don't think it is a frequent problem.

I've only experienced the basic specialty cruise so I can't give you an opinion of the birthday cruise.
