Hi. I am going to the World with my nieces the end of this week and it's their 8th birthday we are celebrating. When I made the ADRs they noted their birthday on there. Do they do anything at the restaurant and if so, do I mention their birthday again when we check in?

Thanks in advance! :)

I would definitely mention it at check in at your hotel and every time you check in at a restaurant. However, they may not do anything for you, so if you want to be guaranteed of a cake, balloons, etc, order them beforehand.

Depends on the restaurant. Usually you can order a cake when you check in or you can check the birthday cake thread and order one ahead of time.

I did order them a cake for the night we are eating at CRT. When I made the other reservations they asked if anyone was celebrating anything special and I gave him the girls names and their age so I didn't know if they did something small for birthdays. I don't have kids so this part of it is all new to me.

Thanks! :)

several times we were eating and the cm's would bring a small cupcake to the table with a candle and sing Happy Birthday to the birthday person...it was really a nice touch:)
