I'm planning a surprise birthday trip for my son's 9th birthday. Any recommendations to help make the day special? I'm thinking of staying at the AKL. Any ideas would be appreciated.

hi Cammie,
We're neighbors.... Don't forget to stop by Town hall in the Magic Kingdom and get a button for your son...He'll be recognized all day and wished many happy Birthdays all day long.
Also, Chef Mickey's in the Contemporary is a geat place for a Birthday dinner...they sing and characters come out and dance and it is a really fun time.
When are you going?
We are going to celebrate my son's 9th birthday too at the end of Nov.

Hi neighbor...We will be going in March. Thanks for the advice. I hope your child has a wonderful disney birthday!

We're planning to celebrate our daughters' birthdays in Oct. next year. Their birthdays are 8 days apart (they'll be 5 and 7 then) - so we'll do one at the beginning and one at the end. Do they have the birthday buttons in other parks or just MK?
