Birthday Celebration at DL

I am thinking of celebrating my ds's 1st birthday at DL with a few family and friends. I saw that you can arrange for a birthday celebration at Plaza Inn. Has anyone done this? Can you tell me about it? Any other birthday celebration tips you can give me?

The birthday celebration at the Plaza Inn, you get a birthday cake to decorate.

We did DS's 1st bday at Goofy's Kitchen. We had all the characters sign a birthday card for him.
