Great update! Looks like you guys had fun at The Wave, it's a nice place, isn't it? We ate there in September and hope to go back again someday! YUMMY! Your pasta looked delish!!! And how cute was the cake? Glad you surprised Chris!!! Too bad about the card though, but you got a good pic of it, so that's good!!

Hope you're staying warm...we got 22 inches here! BRR!!!! At least we get to have a white Christmas, right?! Merry Christmas to you and Chris!!

Great update. We tried the Wave too and after reading your post I don't remember any of our meal! I don't remember that bread and I don't even remember what I ate! I know I had a mango/habenaro martini though so maybe that's why I can't remember anything else!!

I'm FINALLY all caught up!! What great updates!!! I'm so glad that checking in at Kidani went so smoothly. It is a beautiful resort. I didn't realize our studios were so similar. A few of the decorations were different, and our beds/couch area were flipped, but the rest was pretty much the same... I'm so glad yall loved yours too!!!! What a gorgeous resort!

I'm glad you had a great time enjoying DTD that afternoon/night too. It's nice to not rush into a park first thing... And the Wave looked really yummy!!! I wanted to eat there at first, but then I heard bad reviews, so I decided to choose something else. Good to know it's yummy--maybe next time! Oh, and I love the "happy Birthday, Old Man!"

It looks like you and Chris are having so much fun!! I can't wait to hear about the rest of your trip.

Yes it was and it was my birthday!! Had a lot of fun at the party! I loved the fireworks and parade!!

We ate later in the week at the Wave for lunch. Didn't get the bread ...guess they only do that for dinner. But I had the best ruben I've EVER had there....it was AWESOME!!!!

Hi Kristen!! I know I'm chiming in a little late but I just found your TR! I'm all caught up and am sooo excited to hear about your trip as we are planning a Christmas trip for next year!! I'm curious to hear about the crowd levels and any tips you have to share! Did you like the week you went and would you recommend it and why? I'm also excited to hear about your DIS meets since I'm DIS and FB friends with Heather and Tammy! Your resort looks beautiful and the Christmas decorations are TDF!! And I can totally relate to wanting to move to Orlando and work for Disney--my dh and I have had that same exact conversation many times!! I'm looking forward to hearing more about your trip!!

I think the Wave restaurant looks sweet.. it reminds me of Coral Reef in some of its design.

Hi, Kristin!! I followed your other TR but am a little late in joining this one! I never had a real intrest in the Wave, but that seafood pasta looks incredible. DBF and I love visiting the Contemporary, so dinner at the Wave sounds like a great excuse to do so. Hope you guys had a terrific Christmas and can't wait for more updates!

That was awesome we were out there almost every night just sitting there chatting with people and watching the animals in the dark .
AKV was definitely a gorgeous resort! I would go rent points again in a a flash!
