Birthday Cake

In September, 2003, I had a Birthday Cruise scheduled for DH's 50th B-day. To make a long story short, cruise was cancelled because of lightening (they will take the boats out in the rain but not lightening). We ended up taking the cake back to our room.

Not only was it beautiful, it was deee-lish-eee-ous! Everything you see was edible. Even the tiny Mickey heads. The sea shells were white chocolate and the berries were real blueberries and raspberries and all were covered with a sparkling gold glaze. The icing was white chocolate fondant (sp?) and inside it was yellow cake with raspberry cream filling. I was told it came from the Yacht and Beach club dining services. It was amazing!!!

How exactly do you get gifts/cake/flowers delivered to your room?Does the resort just keep it and put it in your room after you check in? We're going during my friend's b-day and would love to do something like this for him!:earsboy:

How do you get the countdown to work?
