We will be eating dinner at Chef Mickeys for my dd's birthday and I am trying to decide what to do for a birthday cake. We will be eating at CRT for breakfast and I am going to order her the glass slipper shoe cake there. I want to sing happy birthday to her at Chef Mickeys but really don't want to spend $40+ for a cake that we don't really 'need' kwim? I looked at the huge cake thread and somewhere in it said that they had Mickey & Minnie cakes there. Does anyone know if those are the ones that can be requested that day at the podium? Anyone gotten a cake from there? Any pictures? Any other ideas (maybe carrying one over from the Main Street Bakery? Don't know if they have birthday cakes though....) TIA!

At Chef Mickey's the will give her a Mickey cup cake and since it's a buffet you'll have a dessert bar. Do you think that's enough along with the slipper at CRT? You could order a "podium cake" it is about 6" and I'm not sure if they personalize it. It should be under $20. The cup cake or more precisely the icing, was enough for my 6yo nephew at Chef Mickey's. They do the napkin waving and singing and one time they did it for "our pal Zeke", my nephew. She'll also get a laminated placemat from Chef Mickey's. Zeke uses his daily. :thumbsup2 We will definitely be returing to Chef Mickey's!

Confession: I so badly wanted to order one of those podium cakes last year, but could never justify it with dessert being included with our DP meals.
