Birthday Buttons

I am going to celebrate my birthday in Disneyland a couple days early (6) and a friend is celebrating his birthday 1 day early. Can we still get buttons? Or do they check ID's now?

Okay, 2 different questions here.

1. Can you get your birthday button when it is not your birthday?
Yes. You cannot get the free on your birthday admission, but just let a Cast Member know that you are celebrating your birthday and could you get a button. They will get you one.

2. Is it okay to wear a birthday button when it is not your birthday?
I say, "Yes, if you are there when you are celebrating your birthday - regardlless of the actual date." Others here feel that you should only wear the button your your birthday. That is a question you will have to answer.

yep!
last time we went (back in 07) a friend of mine told them it was her birthday and got a button (her birthday wasn't for another 2 months)
all she did was go up to the booth (near the entry right after the tunnel on the left hand side) and say "its my birthday" and they gave her a button.
