I posted a few of these questions on the dining board, but no one is responding ...
DD's birthday is at the end of June. We made ADRs for CRT on June 5. DD recently told me she wanted her birthday party at CRT. So ...
I was going to call Disney Dining to let them know we will be celebrating a birthday. I was going to purchase the pre-made $12 cake but after researching everyone said the free cupcake was better quality (and just the right amount for a little girl).
Is it going to be OK to celebrate her b-day 2 weeks early? We will not be celebrating anywhere else and no b-day button.
and
If I bring a "Birthday Girl" tiara and sash and leave it with our server, will they present it with the cupcake? I thought she would feel more "princessy" if they "crown" her. She thinks she's a princess already, so I thought this would make her feel extra special.
Thanks!

. It was a fabulous cake and I don't regret getting it because she loved it, but if you don't want to have a cake with no one to eat it just do the cupcake. My understanding to is if you want a birthday cake they have a standard one you can just request when you get there, if you change your mind and want to have a cake. My DD got the cupcake at the restaurant and it was perfect for her and she was just as happy with it. She even shared it with her cousin.
But when you're in the restaurant, you don't have to specify when her exact birthday is, just that you're there to celebrate her birthday (and when you make your ADR just tell them you will be celebrating your DD's birthday). I agree with the cupcakes, they're fine (hardly get eaten anyway) and I'm sure they'll take out the gifts for you. Have a wonderful trip! And don't forget to get a birthday button!
