My son will be turning 11 years old the first week
in December when we are at the parks.

Welcome to the Dis! US/IOA is a pretty special place by itself but there are additional ways to celebrate a birthday.

A Birthday Your Child Will Never Forget!

The all-inclusive packages include park admission to either Universal Studios® or Islands of Adventure and a special birthday party complete with cake, ice cream, decorations and more.

Extras such as meals and character "meet and greets" are also available.

Parties start at $581 plus tax for up to 16 people. Birthday reservations must be made at least two weeks in advance of the party date.

Or how about a Character Breakfast at Islands Of Adventure!
Have breakfast at Islands of Adventure with Spider-Man® and the Cat in the Hat each Thursday through Sunday from park opening to 10:30 a.m. at Confisco Grille.

After meeting the Marvel Super Heroes and Dr. Seuss Characters, experience high-flying excitement on the “The Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man” ride.

The breakfast is $15.95 for Adults and $9.95 for children, plus tax and gratuity. Call 224-4012 for reservations.

My daughter turns 11 in 3 weeks. She wanted to go to Halloween Horror Nights but chickened out and opted for a bunk bed.

thanks but i was really looking for
a special place to eat that i can have his birthday
acknowledged or i know in magic kingdom you
can go to the post office and receive a sticker to wear
all day so the cast members treat you special.

They don't have birthday buttons at universal. They do sell some really cute birthday hats. The hat looks like a birthday cake with candles.

As far as "a special place to eat that I can have his birthday acknowledged" there isn't one. You'll have to plan your own birthday celebration. I am sure it will be a special day just being in the parks.

Edited to add: I do know Hard Rock Cafe will sing Happy Birthday to your son, if you let them know.
