Birthday at DL

So technically my dd2's birthday will be one week after our trip to DL but I thought it would still be nice to celebrate her birthday there. I can't find any type of birthday celebration dinner etc like WDW has. Does anyone know of anything?

I always have my birthday at Goofy's Kitchen at the DLH. They sing "Happy Birthday," have the whole shabang, and there's characters! They have little birthday buckets and bags that cost extra.

Pick up a birthday button from City Hall. Make sure that the restaurant for her b'day celebration knows it's her b'day.

They do have the party, but it's $15 per person, is a little cake with frosting and sprinkles that (if they are like the frosting that they use for the cookie decorating at Halloween and Yuletime) are filled with corn syrup, food dyes, and high fructose corn syrup, and I'd rather go have a real dessert than that for my money! (and my family can't have those ingredients b/c hubby falls asleep and DS turns into a raging monster with extra bad attitude)


If she likes hearing Happy Birthday, that button will get her a lot of that. I myself was a kid who HATED hearing that, so for me, wearing the button would have ended in about 5 minutes, LOL. But my son loved it.

DS got a free big bowl of vanilla ice cream at Blue Bayou when we went there for lunch on his b'day.
