Birthday at Aulani...?

Hello all,

I'm hoping that I'm posting in the right section or if not maybe someone can point me in the right direction...

DH and I will be heading to Aulani for his birthday and I was wondering if there's anywhere on property I'd be able to order a small birthday cake for him as a surprise? Also, would they do anything special for him since he's there celebrating?

A small complimentary dessert with a "Happy Birthday" greeting is common at just about any Disney table service restaurant. I'd expect that would happen at 'AMA 'AMA, but likely not at Makahiki, as it's a buffet.

Disney does offer "In-Room Celebrations", a few of which are cakes. They are, as you might imagine, small and expensive. http://resorts.disney.go.com/aulani-hawaii-resort/accommodations/celebrations/

We'll be spending a week in April at Aulani for my wife's birthday. We were specifically asked if we were celebrating anything when we made the reservation with Member Services. Not sure if you'll be going before that, but if not, I'll let you know how they treated her.

That was the "Mea Ho'ohau'oli 'Celebration' Gift". Very nice!
