Birthday and Movies resort

Hello Can any one help me.

My son will be having his 11th birthday when we are on our hols, we are taking my son to discovery cove for the day.

I was wondering if the hotel did a service where i could pay for something to be put in the room when we get back like a balloon etc with mickey on.

Has anyone stayed at this hotel and done anything like this?

My MIL birthday was last Saturday and we stayed at the ASMo. I told the CM at check-in that my MIL's bday would be on Saturday. They asked what her favorite character was. On Saturday, when we returned to the room, a b-day card signed by Mickey Mouse was on her bed with balloons attached to it. I didn't pay anything for this.

Character cards and balloons can be delivered, but it is the responsiblity of the CM you ask. Some love too, some will tell that they can't. Some say they will do it, but call sick that day.

It doesn't hurt to ask upon check in, but it is not guaranteed.

When we stayed at All Star Movies in Oct 2003, I wanted to surprise my DD with a basket of goodies, so I contacted the Disney Florist to arrange (that way, I KNEW it would be delivered!)

Allison got a Mickey shaped basket with a disposable camera, autograph book, pen, snacks, stickers, and a stuffed Mickey, and a balloon was attached to it all! It was adorable and Allison was so excited!!!!!

We had gone to Ohanas for dinner our first night, and it was waiting in our room when we got back. The card was signed "Mickey and the Gang"!! My daughter loved it!!!

You can contact the Disney Florist and they can add some things to the basket to make it more "personal".
