Hello,
I just purchased this through Amazon. Im sure much of the info in the book is already posted in this forum but thought it would be nice to take this with me and read on the plaine. Anyone else get it? If so, did I just wasted 12 bucks? LOL.
Thanks,
Anthony

i have it- but like you said almost all the info is posted on these boards- though it is still nice to have and you can show to your "non Disboard friends" :)
i am going to get the 2005 DCL passporter ....which i believe comes out in march 2005- brinbraum's did have some nice color pics!! :flower1:

I got it and sort of thought it was a waste. A good portion of the book is about the ports of call...none of which we are going to. I thought since its a 2005 edition there would be CA info in it, but all there is in the whole book is one blurb about the ship going out there.
The info about the ship I already knew from these boards or from previous cruises. If I were going to the ports mentioned, I may have found it informative, but since Im not, its not very helpful. And I should add I love Birnbaums WDW books and have one from almost every one one of the past 5 years. Im a big fanof them.

Get the passporter - much better.

Agreed--I got it, and it was a waste.
Agreed--Get the Passporter, it is much better.

Even most of the info in Passporter might be found here, but it is handy and organized and portable in the book.

I saw the Passporter on Amazon also but it is for the 2004. The 2005 edition doesnt get published until April. But there probably isn't much difference.
hmm..maybe i should purchase both...

Got it and thought I wasted my money. Didn't tell me anything more than the boards told me.

The 2004 Passporter is MUCH better than the 2005 Birnbaum guide. the latter is more of an expanded Disney brochure. The 2005 Passporter will probably be even better & more up to date but if you need something now, go with the 2004 Passporter.
