Where is this located? My DD is 11. Is there anything there for her or is it mostly for younger kids? Thanks!

There is another posting on this board with great photos. It is also spelled "Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique".

It is in Fantasyland across from Peter Pan. My understanding is it's on the left hand side when you enter thru the castle.

My DD will be 11 by the time we go & she wouldn't be caught dead dressing as a Princess or even Hannah Montana. :sad2: Sad, but true.

As Bumbershoot explained in another thread...I can lay all my hope of my DS, who can get a "Knight" makeover. ;)

Hello all.

Say, we took my daughters to BB Boutique the very day it opened at Disneyland in April of 2009. When they came out, they looked like street walkers. The makeup was garish and heavily applied. We used to take them to Libby Lou's (a great place for little girls), but that's been gone for some time.

I ask whether the boutique has improved or not... Does anyone know? If you saw the pics of my girls the last time we went, you'd be horrified. I refuse to pay the money we paid to have them made up if they look like they're working the corners of Hollywood and Vine.

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Just click on the link above and see for yourself. There are photos of the final product.

My DDs and my DN went in December. I am so not a girlie-girl, but my DDs are definitely into pink and princesses. Sigh. So, we went to BBB for my DDs 7th birthday. I thought they did a great job. The hair looked tight enough to be uncomfortable (and it took them forever with my DN who has really fine yet thick hair), but even my sensitive girls didn't complain.

The makeup was minimal. Maybe a little too much on my youngest though it either wore off pretty quickly or she wiped some off. It showed up less on my paler older daughter than my more medium-toned younger daughter for some reason. The photo in my avatar is of the two of them at the BBB. All in all, for a non-girlie girl mom, I thought it was cute. The girls loved the attention they got. One little three year old boy thought they were to die for. His mom said he was a huge fan of princesses and our girls were the only princesses he had seen all day. He was so in awe, it was darling!

Awww, that is so cute! My 4 year old son LOVES princesses and, to be honest, one thing I'm worried about is if his sister does this, he's going to be jealous--he will want the makeup and tiara too! I'm not sure a Knight makeover is going to cut it for him!

All the little princesses I have seen around the park this year look great to me. You might notice that even the princesses themselves don't go easy on the blush.

Thanks everyone. I've done some more research and viewed many recent photos... much, much better! My 9yr old is very girly but my 7yr old is not so mucn. She does like the times they've spent at Libby's and BBB, though.

We'll give it another shot. If I can find the pix from our last visit to BBB, I'll post them.

Good point about the Princesses, Raindown :)

We did the BBB after it opened, and when I say "we" I mean my DD's and myself....we did it for my bday. Obviously we didn't dress up as princesses or hannah montana (only 1 of us was young enough to "dress up") but we did get the hair/makeup done and we had a blast all day. We got lots of compliments and so many CM's were excited to see that I had done it as well. It was a lot of fun and I would do it again!
