Bing rewards?

I have seen a few references to Bing rewards -- I finally signed up because why not get rewarded for searching the internet. I'm wondering, any tips for maximizing rewards? Best way to redeem rewards?

I search the alphabet one letter at a time in order to search quickly.

You will occasionally get e-mails that have links to get additional points when you click on them (usually point for each link you click on). Other than that there isn't really much to do.

I haven't found any way to get more rewards, but I can quickly get the daily limit.
I generally do a search for a particular category such as "cast of "Lord of the Rings," "cast of Downton Abbey" or "Chili recipes" "autumn recipes" etc...

Once I do that search a gray stripe comes up with results and photos of that search. So a search for "cast of Harry Potter" would show a gray stripe with Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, Rupert Grint etc... all in a line. Then I just click on each person, working my way across the line left to right. I pause only slightly to let the search load and then I click on the next person (or recipe). Each of those clicks on individual people is a search, but it keeps the gray stripe from the first search up there so you can just move to the next.

This works on both PC and mobile searches.

There is no way to get more than the 15 on computer, 10 on mobile and the extra couple of random points they give you each day. On Wednesdays they do have trivia which gives you 3 points. For easy searches just go to the homepage and click on "popular now on Bing" strip - could not be easier, you don't have to type anything just keep clicking on different stories.

As for redeeming, you get a better deal (gift cards for less points) once you've become gold status. I used to redeem for Swagbucks but the point value went up for that one. Now I have been redeeming for Starbucks since you can combine them all into one card - I use it at Disney for sodas, snacks etc. Last May the Starbucks shop at DHS had huge Star Wars cupcakes, DD went to town on those suckers! For our upcoming trip to DLR next month I am redeeming for iHop since there is one across the street from DLR.

Hmm. I've done the alphabet since I started! I guess I've just gotten lucky. I'm definitely not using a bot.

I do the 25 searches per pay and earn a $5 GC every 19 days (I am Gold). instead of using the bookmarks on my computer I search for the page using Bing. I just did a search for "Disboards" to get here. not a lot $$ but easy.They used to have "double days" but have not not seen those in a long time

How to you get gold status?

They have instructions here on how to achieve Gold Status. It's not very hard. I think I got there within a month, but I could be remembering incorrectly.
