I have heard that this is a really good show. We were planning on going to Disneyland on Wednesday, June 22, and then California Adventure on Thursday, the 23rd. Billy Hill is not performing on Wednesday, so my question is- would it be worth our time to go over to Disneyland on Thursday in order to see this show? Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks!

The nice thing about the closeness of the 2 parks, is it's very easy to go back & forth to catch shows or collect FP's.

We love the Billy show & make sure we catch it at least once every trip. For us....it would definitely be worth going to. I would try to keep your plans someone open to park hop.....it really is only a couple minutes walk across the esplanade.

I think so. I've been to DL many times but hadn't seen this show until our last trip in 2008. I guess it just wasn't on my radar as something to do. It was so dang funny & entertaining & I regret all the trips I've taken without seeing this show! Our kids, who were 10, 6 & 4 at the time, got a real kick out of it as well. I'd say it's on our must-not-miss list from now on and I do think it would be worth your time to hop back to DL to see it. Have fun!

We just got back a week or so ago, and my family counts the show as one of the highlights of our whole trip. My parents loved it, I loved it and the kids loved it.

You should search for videos on YouTube to get an idea of what the show is like. If you are annoyed by blue grass type music then you may not like the show. We usually watch it, if you are a fan of blue grass definitely check out The Miner 49ers at DCA. Anyway, The Golden Horseshoe gets busy and full the closer it is to showtime so you could show up early, find a table, and order something to eat while you wait. This place has an upper and lower level, lower might be a better experience.

Love the show. I try and see it often. It is a good place to relax and get a bite to eat. They serve soup and chili in sourdough bread bowls and they have some nice deserts. There are other things too, but those are the most popular.

There really isn't a "bad" seat in the place, but you may want to get there early.

As for coming from DCA to catch the show, if you are going to do that, plan your time in DCA carefully. If you are way at the back of the park, like over by Screamin or Toy Story, it will be a long walk. If you are over near Soarin or even GRR then it won't be so bad.

If it is really that important to you though, I would suggest swapping the days and plan to go to DCA on the Wed and then Disneyland on the Thus. Be sure to check the park hours for the date of your trip because DCA often opens an hour or two later than Disneyland (and closes earlier too) so you'd still be able to catch some rides and attractions early (and/or late) on Wednesday when DCA is closed.

Our family of all ages (8-88) sees this show every time we go...sometimes twice! It is a nice cool break with great entertainment!

Love Them! I'd say go see it! It is worth it. Order some lunch and sit and relax.

We love the hillbillies. Whenever we go we like to get mint ice cream in a waffle cone with hot fudge yummy.

I have been going to Disneyland since I was 3 and the first time I saw them was in 2008. My husbands and my's 2nd trip together and we just thought we would sit down a grab a bite to eat. Just so happened a show was starting in 10 min so we stayed. Good thing because it was so funny ! it is on our list to do next time we go. There was even a couple there watching the show in all their wedding gear must have just go married!! This show is for everyone!:dance3:
