Bill Pay Spreadsheets?

Do any of you "Disboarders" know where I can find a spreadsheet program that I can use to list, on a monthly basis, my outstanding debts, the amounts owed, payment made and total balance? I am not necessarily looking for a budget spreadsheet, just one in which I can keep records of my progress. Thanks!

Hi, have you tried Dave Ramsey's site. He has a couple of free worksheets that you can print off and fill in. He also is on am radio, webcast in the afternoon and Good Morning America every once in a while. He has taught us alot about living debt free.

I choose to use Excel for both my checking and budgeting spreadsheets. I have tried other programs like Quicken, but have always liked using Excel better.

I also like Excel, I find it really easy to use and it's already right on your computer (usually).

You can use excel, but I recently purchased Quicken. You log all your debts and once you make your scheduled payments, it will automatically update the debts. You can also print out various worksheets to see how much you spend in certain catagories. I just LOVE it.

Thanks, guys! I copied my checkbook registry on Excel, so that it is easier to manage and I don't have to worry about running of lines.. I'll check out your ideas-when I have it right in front of me, I seem to manage it much better..

Quicken actually has the checkbook register so it looks the same.

You can set up ALL your bills to remind you when to pay them and the amounts. You can also set up your paychecks and will add those for you as well. The bill reminder is great. You can set it to remind you 3, 7 or whatever days in advance or automatically enter a bill on a certain date if you have some bills set up that way. It is truly a lifesaver and timesaver for me. I love the billminder !!! If you schedule your paychecks, it can give you a graph that shows you what your checkbook would look like in a week, month, etc...
